Oderah Chidom was unstoppable in the paint. She scored 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and grabbed a game high 13 rebounds.
Chidom`s defensive efforts didn`t stopped there. She blocked three shots and stole the ball twice for a efficiency rating of 27.
Tsmoki point guard Lenka Bartakova had a huge game too. Czech international posted impressive stat line – 13 points, 10 assists and six steals.
Ala Murauskaya stepped up with two important three pointers. Forward registered six points, five rebounds and five assists.
Viktoryia Hasper had 13 points and eight rebounds, while Rachel Theriot added 11 points and five rebounds.
Last but not least, Kseniya Vabishchevich made three three pointers to score nine points for the winners.
Julia Poluyanova led all scorers with 24 points, including 4-of-4 shooting from the three point line. She also grabbed seven rebounds and forced five fouls for a team high efficiency rating of 25.
Tatyana Burik was even more deadly from deep. Captain scored 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the three point line. Burik also had six rebounds and six assists.
Natallia Dashkevich registered 11 points.
Tsmoki Minsk won the opening frame 26-16 and increased their lead up to 13 points 32-19 early in the second quarter.
Burik and Poluyanova scored four three pointers in three minutes to cut the gap to two points 35-33.
Hasper scored five consecutive points to maintain lead for the Dragons (40-35) but Nika went on another run.
Dmitriy Shumikhin`s team trailed by one point at the halftime 41-42. Nika took the lead three times early in the second half despite unsportsmanlike foul by Ekaterina Ryabova 42-43, 44-45 and 46-48.
Tsmoki Minsk replied with a 17-3 run highlighted by two three pointers from Murauskaya 63-51.
The Dragons never trailed again. They played better transition offense, scored more points in fast breaks (9-0) and outscored the hosts in the paint (42-14).
Nika Syktyvkar won the battle of three pointers (8/31 vs 12/30) but struggled to score closer to the basket.
