Assistant coach of the MINSK men's team Aliaksei Sukhavetski received a FIBA coaching certificate.
To receive it, each participant had to attend three annual seminars. More than 60 specialists from Europe and North America took part in the FECC 2019-2022 training.
To earn the FECC (FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate), participants had to pass the relevant exams at each stage of the program – written, oral and open training. Classes were held during the European Championships among the youth teams U-16, U-18 and U-20 for three playing seasons.
The lecturers at the final session of FECC-2022 were world-famous specialists Svetislav Pesic (head coach of the Serbian national team), Pablo Laso (head coach of Real Madrid), Andrea Trinchieri (head coach of Bayern Munich), Gordon Herbert (Germany), Arik Schivek (Holland) and many others.
Aliaksei shared his impressions about the significant achievement: “For me, this is a huge experience, acquaintance with excellent professionals, obtaining unique knowledge that can be worthily applied in practice. It was very interesting to listen to the famous lecturers in the world of basketball, with their charismatic and unique presentation of the material. I would also like to thank the Belarusian Basketball Federation for their support and choosing me as a candidate for training.”
