"Tsmoki-Minsk" enter the quarterfinals with a victory

On April 8, the main team of “Tsmoki-Minsk” began a series of games in the playoffs of the Belarusian championship. The opponent of the main team in the quarterfinals were the teammates – “Tsmoki-Minsk" (youth). Today's game for the youth team with the current champions of the country was a difficult test – the main “dragons” won with a score 91:38 (23:12, 24:5, 23:11, 21:10).

The first points in the game were brought to his team by captain Aliaksei Trastsinetski. "Tsmoki-Minsk” won the initiative in the first minutes, however, they did not go into a big gap. In the second quarter, almost one hundred percent initiative in scoring shots was intercepted by the main squad of the "Dragons". Vadzim Stubeda and Benjamin-Pavel Dodoo showed a master class on performing slamdanks for “junior” teammates. In order to cool down the older “dragons” and excite his youth, Dmitry Koltunov took a time-out. Only three minutes before the end of the second ten minutes, Egor Yuryev, with a throw from behind the arc, was able to get the first points for the youth team for the quarter. At the end of the first half of the game, the main “dragons” broke away in “+30” (47:17).

After a long break, Uladzislau Blizniuk  and Yauheni Beliankou from the main squad continued to shine with accurate three-poit shots. Meanwhile, Alexey Shevchenko and Ilya Milashevsky tried to take an active position in the attacks of their rivals. But, Dmitry Koltunov's wards could not overcome the gap of 42 points, and the quarter ended with a score of 70:28.

The final quarter did not bring any surprises – both teams increased the score on the scoreboard with varying success, and ended the meeting with the victory of the reigning champions with a score of 91:38.
