In a series of quarterfinal games, “Tsmoki-Minsk” met with the youth team of teammates. In the second game, the main team again won a landslide victory with the score 95:53 (31:16, 19:12, 26:14, 19:11). Thus, earning himself an exit to the semifinals of the national championship.
Daniil Barysevich opened the score on the scoreboard, and Benjamin-Pavel Dodoo and Aliaksei Shevchenko exchanged productive “three-point shots". In the third minute of the match, the score between the teams became equal – 5:5. From that moment, Rostislav Vergun's team began to increase the pace, and almost immediately gained an advantage of 6 points (13:7). Beautiful “3 point shots” were designed by Uladzislau Blizniuk and Andrei Stabrouski. Closer to the end of the first ten minutes of the game, “Tsmoki-Minsk” led with an advantage of 12 points — while the youth team managed to get exactly half of the result of the senior “dragons”. The youth team tried to catch up with their teammates with shots from the free throw line and from an average distance, but a three-point hits from Uladzislau Blizniuk and a spectacular “buzzer” from Andrei Stabrouski left the position of the teams unchanged - the quarter ended with a score of 31:16 in favor of Rostislav Vergun's wards.
In two minutes of the game at the beginning of the second quarter, the teams equally scored only 2 points each, and the coach of the main team decided to take a timeout. Vadzim Stubeda with two block shots in a row and two hits from the free throw line allowed his team to increase the advantage in “+17” (35:18). At the same time, in the first half of the game, "Tsmoki-Minsk" made 100% of 14 attempts to throw from the free throw line. Having made several interceptions, Dmitry Koltunov's wards made it clear that they did not want to easily give the opponent an advantage of “+20".
