The MINSK men's team went to Nizhny Novgorod, where the matches of the third Khayretdinov Cup will take place on September 8 and 9. In addition to our team, Pari Nizhny Novgorod, UNICS (Kazan), PARMA (Perm Krai) will take part in the tournament.

The pre-season basketball tournament Khayretdinov Cup has been held since 2021 in Nizhny Novgorod. Alexander Khayretdinov was at the origins of the creation of BC Nizhny Novgorod. In 2000, the NBA club was organized on the basis of the basketball team of the Volga Engineering Pedagogical Institute with his direct participation, and Khayretdinov was simultaneously the president, head coach, director and doctor of the team. In 2008, the club received a new name — Nizhny Novgorod. Dmitry Svatkovsky became president, and all subsequent years Khayretdinov was a member of the club's management.
