Today, the men's team held the first training session of the preseason in the sports complex of our basketball club.
Both experienced players of the club and newcomers met on the floor. After the welcoming speech of the head coach Rostislav Vergun, the team started physical exercises.
Recall that the upcoming season in the VTB United League for MINSK will begin on October 1. Our team will play on the home court against Pari Nizhny Novgorod. Also in the 2023/24 season, MINSK will have to compete for the first time on the League floor against the rookie teams Runa and Uralmash.
Officially, the first stage of the regular season starts on September 30, 2023 and ends on February 4, 2024. At the first stage of the regular season, 14 participating teams will hold a tournament in two rounds - on the 1st game at home and away, after which the teams will be divided into 2 groups – group A (teams ranked 1-6 places) and group B (teams ranked 7-14 places). At the second stage, the teams will play 2 more rounds in their groups.
