Tomorrow, February 10, “Tsmoki-Minsk” will finally resume their performance in the VTB United League with home match against “Enisey” Krasnoyarsk. The game takes place on the court of the capital’s arena “Falcon Club” and starts at 19:00.
Notably, the last match for the “dragons” before the almost two-month forced break was the game against “Enisey”. It was held on December 18 in Krasnoyarsk and ended with the victory of the home team – 86-79. The most efficacious players were: Ware Casper – 22pts. 5reb., Brynton Lemar – 21pts. 4reb., Brown Rion – 10pts. 9 reb. 4 ast.; Warner Angelo – 19pts. 3reb. 4ast., Clark Jason – 13pts. 3ast., Jankovic Stefan – 13pts. 5reb. 2ast. 1blk, Beliankou Yauheni – 12pts. 4 reb., Hernandez Zinenko Darol – 10pts. 3reb. 3ast. 3 stl. 1 blk.
Over the past period, the Minsk team has decreased by two units – after contracts cancellation with Stefan Jankovic and Artem Kuzmin, while the Siberians team has not changed.
If “Tsmoki-Minsk” on the occasion of the COVID postponements of games with “Astana”,” Parma” and the same “Enisey” were forced to stay idle, the Krasnoyarsk team played six matches during this period. Three games were played in VTB United League: against Parma (61-78-h), CSKA (88-97-a), Nizhny Novgorod (79-61-a). Three more games in Northern League: with the Belarusian “Borisfen” (86-46), the Czech “Brno” (88:83), the Estonian “Tartu” (70:63). In VTB League “Enisey” with four wins after eleven rounds takes 8th place, in Northern League – it shares the lead with the Polish “Anvil” with a 100% result in three matches.
As in December, the first four places in the list of the best strikers of Drazen Anzulovic’s team were occupied by American legionnaires:
Casper Ware – 17.6pts., + 1.8reb., + 2.9ast., + 1.1stl., 15.4 eff.

Let’s pay attention to the fact that the head coach Zoran Lukic introduced the 25-year-old Enisey center Sergey Balashov to the extended list of the Russian national team, which in the end of February will have to play twice with the Netherlands team in the 2023 World Cup qualification. Two more players – guard Timofey Gerasimov and forward Vladislav Trushkin – are included in the reserve list of the national team.
