Jason Clark is the newcomer of Tsmoki-Minsk
Basketball club «Tsmoki-Minsk» and 31-year-old American point guard Jason Clark signed a one-month contract.
Clark was born on January 16, 1990 in Arlington. From 2008 to 2012, he studied and played for Georgetown University in the NCAA. In three of his four college seasons, he was consistently in the starting five, and the graduation was the most successful in terms of efficiency for him. In the 2011/12 season, he averaged 14.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 33 games. He tried his way through summer camp to the NBA club Miami Heat after graduation.
In the Fall of 2012, Clark began his professional career in the Old World. He started in Europe Basketball in Belgium where, at first, he played for Okapi, making his EuroChallenge debut (15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.7 steals). He moved to Charleroi the next year.
In 2014/15 , the basketball player moved a lot. He made his debut in the German "Goettingen", then returned to the recognized "Okapi", for which he again played in the EuroChallenge, but, definitely ,spent the main part of the season in the Turkish "Ankara", where he remained for another year. In 2016, he returned to Belgium and helped Antwerp to the national championship and FIBA Eurocup for two years (14.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists).
Due to the fact that Clark played a successful season, he received an invitation from the Germany-BBL and signed a contract with the Skyliners club, which played in the European Cup (12.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists ). From 2019 to 2021, the American spent in Italy, where he played for Varese in Serie A, and for Torino in Serie A2. This season, Clark had intended to join the Greek team Apollon Patras, but his plans changed in favor of Tsmoki-Minsk.
