New forward in our team

Basketball club Tsmoki-Minsk and Belarusian Vladimir Veremeyenko today signed a cooperation agreement.

His career began in native Gomel back in 1998. The next three years, Vladimir spent in Belarus, changing the RShVSM to the Gomel Sozh and Spartak-Confectioner. And in 2002 he moved to Russia: he gave 2 years to the Saratov Avtodor and 2 more Dynamos from St. Petersburg. It was with St. Petersburg that he became the winner of the FIBA Euroleague, showing statistics of 12.6 points and 5.5 rebounds. 2006 could be a turning point for Belarus: it was drafted by the NBA Washington Wizards team, but the player decided to pursue a career in St. Petersburg. True, not for long: the team was declared bankrupt and Veremeenko continued his career at Khimki.

In the 2008/09 season, the player moves to Kazan UNICS. As part of the team, he spent 6 seasons and twice became the owner of the Cup of Russia, as well as the Euro Cup in 2011. Then to Vladimir's career were Turkey (Basketbol Kulubu), Italy (Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia) and Germany (Brose Baskets Bamberg). In November 2017, Vladimir signed a contract with Nizhny Novgorod, and the next year he moved to the Cyprus AEK.

Average player statistics in AEK: 10.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
