Game scenario

In the first quarter, the opponents demonstrated an equal pace of play, as evidenced three times by the same score on the scoreboard. Daniil Kasko, Vadzim Stubeda and Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson made repeated hits into the Uralmash ring, and the teams left with a score of 24:20 for the first break. In the second quarter, Ekaterinburg began to demonstrate more aggressive defense and offense. Despite several accurate shots from behind the arc and from the middle distance, Minsk residents went to the big break with a score of 38:52.

Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson was repeatedly pleased with accurate throws from behind the arc, but Uralmash's team interaction turned out to be stronger in today's meeting. The final score of the match is 104:72.

Acting head coach of MINSK Alexey Sukhovetsky: “First of all, I congratulate the opponent on a confident victory. They played very well, showed a good level, a high percentage of hits and assists – well done, congratulations. As for us: for 28 minutes, except for one segment in the second quarter, we stayed in the game, there was discipline. At a certain point, we “fell down”, there were a lot of ridiculous losses on our part. It didn't even allow us to try to cling on and reduce the difference in the score.”

Minsk residents will hold the next match again on the road away from Zenit. The match will take place on January 11 at 19:30.
