Game progress

Petersburgers arrived today without one of the leaders – Thomas Ertel and attracted Pavel Zemsky and Konstantin Shevchuk from the youth team. Our guys created a 5-point advantage at the start of the game, including thanks to two consecutive hits from Vadzim Stubeda. However, Zenit equalized the score in quick attacks. But Minsk residents distinguished themselves again and Grigorii Motovilov again led our team to the leaders of the site (8:6). By the end of the quarter, Daniil Kasko, Artem Sekushenka and Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson also made accurate shots. On the first break, the teams left with a score of 16:20.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Rostislav Vergun's wards did not allow the Russian team to gain a significant advantage in the score. However, Zenit began to demonstrate a more aggressive struggle and still issued a “+10" on the scoreboard. The head coach of MINSK took a timeout, after which the Minsk residents confidently reduced the difference in the score by a jerk of 4 points from Vadzim Stubeda and Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson. The score before the big break was 35:42.

At the start of the third quarter, Xavier Pascual's wards managed a breakthrough of 6 points, while our guys were accompanied by offensive losses and misses in attacks. Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson distinguished himself in the Minsk team, who alone brought 9 points to the team standings. The teams went to the final break with a score of 51:64.

Interchange

In the fourth quarter, the guests from the northern capital of Russia managed to keep the pace necessary for victory. But despite the double-digit difference in the score, our team did not give the opponent any reason to relax until the last minutes. Vadzim Stubeda and Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson repeatedly scored in effective attacks. The match ended with the victory of Zenit with a score of 84:62.
