On February 4, at 16:00, MINSK will play against Enisey on the home court. In previous meetings, the rivals won one victory each, so the upcoming match is fundamentally important for both teams. Read more about the news in Drazen Anzulovic's team since the last meeting, which took place on November 24, in our preview.
Season 2022/23
In the past 23 matches of the season Enisey won 7 times. Moreover, in the last 5 matches Krasnoyarsk defeated MBA (85:80), Avtodor (88:84) and Astana (83:67).
MINSK fans know that former players of our team Angelo Warner and Yauheni Beliankou spend the season as part of the Russian opponent. And on January 18, they were joined by the ex-defender of Minsk Supreme Shakur Hannah, who has already managed to spend in the Enisey 2 games with average stats of 7.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds.
Angelo Warner continues to be the leader of the opponent, who in 22 matches on average spends a little more than 28 minutes on the floor per game, gaining 14.4 points, making 4.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.2 steals.
The best result in rebounds is demonstrated by American forward James Thompson – 6.8. Thompson adds 10.0 points to them.
On January 31, the Russian club announced the transfer of forward Sergei Dolinin to the team. Dolinin spent the first half of the 2022/23 season at PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban and took part in 4 matches of the VTB United League, scoring an average of 1.3 points. The basketball player spent 13 more games in the Super League for the SSHOR-Lokomotiv-Kuban team with averages of 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Perhaps tomorrow the forward will be able to make his debut for Enisey on the Minsk court.
MINSK center Zach Smith: “We are very excited, preparing for our upcoming game. If we continue to build mutual understanding with our new key players, we will increase the chances of success in the near future.”
